I rode in a helicopter over Lake Erie!
Isn’t it fabulous?!
I love reflecting on the past year…often finding I’ve done more things than I think I have!
In 2018, I got a better grasp of the immensity of Lake Superior by finally flying over it in daylight, on a cloudless day. I spent time with my entire family in one wonderful lakeside place. I focused on the delights of an empty nest (supper in your pjs, anyone?) rather than bemoaning the fact that my chicks have all flown away. I made it to the top of Whiteface Mountain, so that I can hold up my head in the company of my mountain-loving family. My oldest grandchild had a double-digit birthday. I loved hearing four of the grands read to me, fluently and with great expression. I upgraded to a phone smart enough to run apps properly, and learned the joys of Uber and Googlemaps.
