Here are four random things I learned in October.
- Tomato leaves are not poisonous!
2. Daylilies are edible: shoots, tubers, buds, and flowers.
3. There are three types of epistolary novel.
- monologic: letters written by one character
- dialogic: letters sent between two characters
- polylogic: letters by three or more characters
4. I should probably stop reading thrillers. I’m sucked in by the promise of a shocking twist and that ends up being the only thing that keeps me reading. It’s just not my favourite genre of fiction.
I’m with you on # 4!
Glad we’re on the same page! Talk to you soon. 🙂
I’ve seen recipes featuring pansies, nasturtiums, roses, and squash blossoms, but never daylilies. I wonder if they taste good.
Boo to thrillers.
