I haven’t been to Jamestown, but I highly recommend Williamsburg Virginia on the coast. It is a village restored to the 18th century where all the arts such as violin making and book binding continue . The Inns operate as if you were transported back in time. You rent a space on a bed, and not a whole room for an overnight stay. Of course then, the only travellers were men! I loved the shoe maker . It is a sophisticated version of Upper Canada Village.

That sounds fascinating! I do hope we’ll make a trip to Virginia sometime, so I can visit my sister and catch some historical sites at the same time.
